My mission is not only to provide the most professional and friendly PC repair services, but to empower interested clients with basic computer knowledge. I’ve been in the IT business for over 20 years working for Fortune 500 companies, world-wide non-profit organizations and most recently, for the City of Evanston in Illinois. I started in Help Desk working on Apple, Windows and Linux workstations and laptops. I soon advanced to Systems Engineer where I repaired, configured and maintained servers, virtual machines, back-up storage devices and wireless and surveillance camera networks. In recent years, I became a Network Engineer in which I configured, repaired and maintained switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
I am a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist and have several albums available on the internet (ianmusic.com). Prior to recording my own music professionally, I attended a jazz conservatory in downtown Chicago for several years. After following the academic I toured with several bands as a drummer/backup/lead singer.
